A Debut Novel from a
New Voice in Christian Fiction...
In her debut Christian Fiction novel, “Trouble Won't Last Always” author
Michelle C. Taylor follows four women as they go in search for love,
developing a bond along the way that gives them all strength and hope as
they discover that God will always be there for them when tragedy
strikes. “Troubles Won’t Last
Always” is an exemplification of beauty, strength, and confidence as
these women learn that in spite of it all; that with GOD on their side
they’re able to make it through the flames.
The book of the month for May will be “Jezebel” by Jacquelin Thomas!!!!!!
Purpose/Mission/Objective: To promote the love of
reading and sharing of Scripture through God’s anointed authors.
Restoring the Joy is designed to promote healing of hurts
(mentally, emotionally, or physically) through sharing, reading,
laughing, crying; but mainly through God’s Word.
Women and men are invited to attend.
Meeting Times:
The last Friday of each month at 7:00 pm;
unless it falls on a holiday,
at the home of Delores McLauchlin or other book club attendees.

Our book for the month of April was “Sunday Brunch” by Norma Jarrett. The book centers on a circle of friends who finished law school together, and have remained close. One of the ways that they maintain their bond and keep up with what is going on in their lives is to share Sunday brunch together. Some exciting and interesting things are happening in their lives! Come join us and find out what’s going on.
