Dr. Allen Scott McLauchlin
Pastor Allen S. McLauchlin was born June 21, 1948, to Cornie Lee and Ella Mae McLauchlin in Fayetteville, NC. He is the fourth child of seven. Pastor McLauchlin spent his formative years in Cumberland County in close proximity to the current structure of the Church he now pastors.
He is a graduated of Fayetteville State University on a full academic scholarship. On day after graduation from FSU, Pastor McLauchlin received a letter from “Uncle Sam” informing him that he was to report for active duty within a few days.
During his tenure as a Military Police Officer, stationed at Fort Ritchie, Maryland, Pastor McLauchlin met Norma Jean Tucker. They were married on March 25, 1972, after being honorably discharged from the Army.
In 1980 he earned a certificate and Master of Divinity Degree from Carolina Bible College.
Feeling armed with the Word of God not only planted on his heart but also with the wisdom that came with knowledge, Pastor McLauchlin began to teach the Bible in his home. Fifteen years later this small fellowship grew to what is known today as New Life Bible Church.
During his tenure at New Life, Pastor McLauchlin was blessed to become the proud father of his son, Allen Scott-Tucker McLauchlin, who is one of the sources of his pride and joy.
In 1993, Pastor McLauchlin earned the ThD Degree from International Bible College and Seminary.
In 1997 he founded and is Senior Administrator of New Life Christian Academy.
