SENIOR CITIZENS
FOCUS
Our focus is to enrich the lives of Senior Citizens of NLBC. We encourage them to form friendships among themselves and others. This will enable them to find lasting friendships both spiritually and personal. We promote health, well being and independence through recreation, creative activity, support and information.
MISSION
To offer a
Christian environment and any tool available to us that helps seniors
explore areas that might be interesting to them.
GOALS
Our main goal is to achieve 100% participation from the Senior Citizens. We hope to provide free transportation when needed, recreational activities to include movies, arts/crafts, and day trips. We will also make available screening for diabetes and blood pressure, information on meals on wheels, home aide, home chores and legal information. Educational and fitness programs will also eventually become a part of our program.
