Very early on the first day of the week, (EIGHTH DAY) just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb.  Mark 16:2

EIGHT; Number for new beginnings.

· Eight were saved after the flood to repopulated the earth.

· Beginning of new life, circumcision done on eight day.

· David, the hope of Israel was the eight child

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.   2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 6:15

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.  Romans 6:4; Ephesians 4:24

5.  There should be a new purpose.

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.  Philippians 1:21

"`What shall I do, Lord?' I asked.  "`Get up,' the Lord said, `and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do. Then the Lord said to me, `Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.  Acts 22:10,21

With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."  Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"  And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"  He said, "Go and tell this people:  Isaiah 6:7-9a

6.  There should be new duties.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. Luke 19:10

For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,  I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.  Matthew 25:42,43

7. There should be a reward.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?  Mark 8:36

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.  2 Timothy 4:8

“His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'  Matthew 25:21

8.  There should be a new behavior.

and do not give the devil a foothold.  He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need.  Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,  Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.  32  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.  Be imitators of God,  Ephesians 4:27-29,31;5:1

you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people.  Nor should there be obscenity.  ...and live a life of love.  Ephesians 5:3,2
