Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, and I was delivered from the lion's mouth. 2 Timothy 4:17

Lion’s Den: A place (financial, physical, emotional, spiritual etc) where the possibility of overcoming appears  totally hopeless.

1. Living in such a way that God will  FILL you with the Holy Spirit.

Daniel distinguished himself among the commissioners and officials because he possessed an extraordinary spirit, Daniel 6:3

For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will drink no wine or liquor; and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, while yet in his mother's womb.  Luke 1:15

And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak the word of God with boldness. Acts 4:31

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.  Ephesians 5:18

HOW TO BE FILLED: Completely surrendering your will to God’s will.

( Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is) Ephesians 5:17

2. Living in such a way, that your faithfulness to God is  VISIBLE to the world.

but they could find no ground of accusation or evidence of corruption, inasmuch as he was faithful, and no negligence or corruption was to be found in him. Daniel 6:4

Daniel  went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. Daniel 6:10

When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, "Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?  Daniel 6:20

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.  Acts 16:25

He said, "Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.  Daniel 3:25

3.  Living in such a way, that your  ___CONSCIENCE________ is clear.

My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king. Daniel 6:22

Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, "My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.  Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, in the holiness and sincerity that are from God.    Acts 23:1;2 Corinthians 1:12

This is the way of an adulteress:  She eats and wipes her mouth  and says, `I've done nothing wrong. Proverbs 30:20 (believing ones own lies)

How much more, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our conscience.  Hebrews 9:14

Concluding Scripture:  "For he is the living God  and he endures forever;  his kingdom will not be destroyed,  his dominion will never end.  He rescues and he saves;  he performs signs and wonders  in the heavens and on the earth.  He has rescued Daniel  from the power of the lions.  Daniel 6:26,27

Concluding thought: He can rescue us also!
