Pastor Allen S. McLauchlin was born June 21, 1948, to Cornie Lee and Ella Mae McLauchlin in Fayetteville, NC. He is the fourth child of seven. Pastor McLauchlin spent his formative years in Cumberland County in close proximity to the current structure of the Church he now pastors. 

Dr. McLauchlin was called into the ministry in 1977.  He was licensed by the AME Zion Church. He was the Senior Pastor of St. Paul AME Church Winslow Arizona from 1978-80, assistant pastor of New Bethel AME Zion Church, Fayetteville, NC from 1980-82.  Pastor McLauchlin became Pastor and founder of New Life Bible Church, 1982; New Life Christian Academy and Preparatory School, 1997 and New Life Bible College and Seminary, 1998. He is currently Senior Pastor and Senior Administrator.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Fayetteville State University, 1970, Master of Education from East Carolina University 1976, Doctorate of Theology from International Bible College and Seminary 1994, a certificate of Biblical Studies for Carolina Bible College, 1986. He has done further studies at Johns Hopkins University, North Carolina State University and Columbia Bible College.

Dr. McLauchlin has worked for the Department of Defense (DoD) as a Social Service Assistance specializing in marriage and family counseling and drug and alcohol treatment. He also worked as a Supervisory Education Specialist on the Navajo Reservation in Dilcon, Arizona and retired from DoD as an Education Specialist for the U.S. Special Forces.

Awards received by Pastor McLauchlin in acknowledgement for his outstanding leadership abilities included the Humanitarian of the Year Award, Fayetteville Business and Professional League, Religion Award, Minority Health and Law Professionals, Good Citizenship Award, Fayetteville Civitan Club; He is a past member of the Board for Carolina Bible College,  and Peterkins and Associates.

Dr. McLauchlin is married to the former Norma Tucker of Reidsville, NC. They are the proud parents of one son, Allen Scott-Tucker McLauchlin.
