The time will come for us to give account. 
We try to hold on to what we can control
And not wanting to let it go.
Does this keep us in charge? 

We have a hard time accepting others telling us what to do.
If we cannot see what is keeping us together
Does our mind tell us it is we?
Do we have a problem letting go of those things we cling to?

We very seldom take chances
And afraid to allow God to give us a makeover
Due to our lack of knowledge, 
But yet we say we trust Him 

Our only way in getting to know God
And trusting Him fully,
Is staying in and obeying His Word
While allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us instead of us guiding ourselves

Are our minds made up to let go of everything and give it to God?
The world is unpredictable you know
But God sees everything that goes on
Be watchful!

Just when we think everything is going well in all areas of our lives,
Something unexpected happens that my cause the truth to be revealed
Or keep us from moving forward.
A relationship with God will help us to keep moving in the right directions and doing the right things

Study His Word in order to know Him better
Time is winding down and soon we will have to give account to Him.
Think about it.
