I see so many people making the wrong choices
Giving in to marriages that ends up in divorces     
Thousands of homes and shelters so close to foreclosure  
Helpless children given to indecent exposure

I see single parents taking care of children on their own
Asking for child support from the one who is never home
I see homeless men and women sleeping out on the street
Not knowing of their fate or even having food to eat

I see soldiers fighting and dying wondering what will be the gain
With love ones at home praying with tears falling like rain   
I see an increase in prices that affects all nations
That created ill-gotten gain through greed and temptations

Children in foster care wondering what they have done wrong
Asking this one question "Will my parents be gone long?"  
I see the Ozone Layer thinning and a mass of Global Warming
The seasons changing drastically and raging storms forming

I see perfect love fading and deteriorating
Hearts are growing cold, even the younger ones are hating
I see population increasing and more mouths to feed
But not enough food to fulfill the hungry need

I see the reason for the season getting way out of hand 
Children are not being taught so that they'll understand 
I knew that this would happen, this is why I came
To establish perfect order and put the world to shame

I knew these things would happen
But this wasn't my original plan
I came to give you "Peace on Earth
And Good Will To All Men"
