It exists just like any other spirit. Have you ever
waited in a checkout line hearing couples carrying on conversations?
The conversation could be about them, about someone else or even about you.
It could be why a cashier is taking so long with a customer or it could be about
something that somebody is wearing that doesn't look right, you know GOSSIP!

Most of the time, there isn't too much positive speaking in conversations.
Sometime things are said loud enough for you to hear just to see
if you would make a comment.  We face the negative spirit everyday,  
but as children of God, we can put an end to the negative speaking.

If you are in a place and negative is all you hear, don't' walk away.
Ask God to give you the right things to say to them.
Let God use you to speak in such a way to change their tone.  
When you walk away, they may still talk negative, but it will also give them something to think about.

Most of the time when people talk out loud,
They just want others to experience what they feel or maybe they just want to chit-chat.
Let those who speak negative experience what you have and that is the Christ in you.   
Keep the negative low by speaking a positive word.
